Delco Remy started out in 1896 in Anderson, Indiana as the enterprise of the Remy brothers who bought a small shack and went to work experimenting on ignition system for gasoline engines. Their work eventually caught the eye of General Motors and their company became the largest manufacturer of automotive electrical equipment.
